The two-story Yonkers Recreational Pier has been a staple on the Hudson River for over the past 100 years. Located at the foot of Main Street, the pier has recently been completely renovated and is the centerpiece of Yonkers’ downtown/revitalization program.
Yonkers, the unofficial 6th borough, throughout history has been known as a small farming community with a very active waterfront. Did you know Yonkers is where Elisha Otis invented the first safety elevator and the Otis Elevator Company?
The pier is a unique site for cultural and community events, festivals and fireworks presentations as well as a location to charter your private yacht from Skyline Princess Cruises for your celebration! From this location, you can enjoy your catering hall that floats down the Hudson River and see the New York City skyline giving your guests a night to remember.

Driving:
From Long Island and Queens: Take the Throgs Neck Bridge. Keep right at the fork to continue on I-695 N, follow signs for I-95 N/New Haven. Merge onto I-95. Take exit 9 for Hutchinson River Parkway. Once on the Hutchinson River Parkway take exit 13 to merge onto Cross County Pkwy/New York State Reference Rte 907K toward Saw Mill Pkwy/Yonkers. Take exit 2 for Saw Mill Pkwy N toward Albany. Merge onto Saw Mill River Pkwy N and stay to the right. Quickly take exit 5 for Yonkers Ave toward Yonkers/Dunwoodie G.C. Turn right onto New York State Reference Route 983C/Yonkers Ave. Continue to follow Yonkers Ave. In about .7 of a mile, Yonkers Avenue makes a slight left and becomes Nepperhan Ave. Continue onto Prospect St. Turn right onto Buena Vista Ave. Turn left onto Main Street. There is parking to your left and right.
From Manhattan: Take the Riverside to Henry Hudson Parkway (9A). Take Henry Hudson Parkway about 7 miles. It turns into Saw Mill River Parkway. Take exit 5 for Yonkers Ave toward Yonkers/Dunwoodie G.C. Turn right onto New York State Reference Route 983C/Yonkers Ave. Follow the directions above from this point.
Mass Transit: From Grand Central Terminal take the Hudson line three stops to the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad Station.
You can also take the 1 train to Marble Hill – 225 St. Walk about two minutes west to the Hudson MTA train station. Take the Hudson 743 towards Croton-Harmon one exit to the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad Station.
